Since version 1.9.0, S3 Browser has a support for Copy/Move operations.

Here we will explain how to Copy/Move files and folders between Amazon S3 Accounts.
  1. First, make sure you have READ access for the source bucket and WRITE access for the destination bucket.

    How to use an Amazon S3 Bucket shared by another Amazon S3 user.
  2. If all permissions are OK, navigate to the source bucket and select files and/or folders you want to copy or move.

  3. Click File->Copy if you need to copy these files or click File->Cut if you need to move these files.

  4. Open the destination(external) bucket and click File->Paste to copy or move selected files to the destination Amazon S3 bucket.

    Open the destination(external) bucket and click File->Paste. You can also use Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut.

  5. S3 Browser will start the copy/move operation and will refresh the files list when the operation is completed.

    Files are moved from bucket 'www.downloads' to external bucket 'aaa-downloads'
    Files are moved from bucket 'www.downloads' to external bucket 'aaa-downloads'.
