Using S3 Browser Freeware you can easily upload any number of files to Amazon S3. Below you will find step-by-step instructions that explain how to upload/backup your files.

To upload files to Amazon S3

1. Start S3 Browser and select the bucket that you plan to use as destination. You can also create a new Amazon S3 Bucket if necessary.
2. 
   Click Files -> Upload File(s) on the menu or click the Upload button located on the toolbar. Or, click Files->Upload Folder if you want to upload a whole folder or whole drive.
3. Now you will see a Select File dialog or Select Folder dialog depending on what option you have selected. You need to select the file or files that you want to upload and click OK. If you want to upload a folder please choose the folder and click OK.
4. S3 Browser will start uploading your files and will display the progress on the Transfers tab.

S3 Browser remembers the files in the queue. You can restart application and continue uploading. For large files you can resume uploading from the position where it was stopped.

S3 Browser allows you to download one or multiple files as well as a whole folder.

To download file(s) or a folder you need to perform the following steps.

1. Start S3 Browser and select the bucket that contains the files you want to download.
2. Select the files which you need to download and then click Files -> Download on the menu or click the Download button located on the toolbar.
3. S3 Browser will ask you to choose a destination folder. Choose the folder and click OK.
4. S3 Browser will start downloading your files and will display the progress on the Transfers tab. If you need to download a large number of small files, you can speed up the process by increasing the number of concurrent downloads.
